LETR could not be more thrilled for our very own Harry Mezger who beat the odds to take out a prestigious national leadership award from a field of extraordinary mainstream achievers.
In an emotional moment for Harry, his family and friends and LETR, Harry was named as the 2023 winner of the First National Real Estate Leadership Award for his advocacy for athletes with an intellectual disability, his commitment to inclusion and his unwavering belief in the benefits of sport for disabled Australians.
The night was particularly moving for our own chief, Matt Volk, who has mentored Harry from his time as a junior athlete at Special Olympics’ Melbourne Inner East to his role as a Special Olympics Victoria athlete leader and a member of the National Athlete Input Council at Special Olympics Australia.
“I was elated when he won and so proud,” said Matt. “Harry is a true leader in every sense of the word – he is talented, positive, inclusive, respectful and kind.”
It was a thrill to see you up on the stage, Harry Mezger.
