They say in basketball that a fast game is a good game and the 90 Special Olympic Victoria athletes who participated in the Melbourne Eastern Rangers Interclub basketball tournament did not disappoint.
It was a day of fast-moving action at the Nunawading Basketball Stadium with nine clubs from around the State battling it out for the coveted tournament win.
There were plenty of slam-dunks, airballs, jump balls, three-pointers and even a few alley-oops for the crowd of family, friends and volunteers all cheering from the sidelines.
LETR president Matt Volk was on hand to present ribbons to the exhausted teams and congratulate all on an outstanding and fair day of competition.
Well done MER. It was an excellent tournament.
