Torch Run Victorian was thrilled with the news that the national body representing all our colleagues and friends from around Australia was named as the 2023 “Champions of Inclusion” by Special Olympics Australia.
Inclusion is at the heart of who we are as members and as an organisation and while we do what we do for the intellectually disabled athletes of Australia, it was incredibly moving to be recognised and acknowledged for that work.
The phenomenal athletes of Special Olympics Australia will always be the true champions of inclusion but we at Torch Run are lucky enough to tag along for the ride.
