Congratulations to LETR’s Kate Lockyer and Rachael Kelly who have been recognised in the annual Office of the Public Advocate awards for their services to, and support of, athletes with a disability.
Vice President Kate was presented with the Outstanding Service to People with a Disability award for her incredible coordination of two Chief’s Challenges and her commitment to developing a communication tool kit for colleagues on the front line to be rolled out later this year across Victoria.
LETR Northeast Coordinator, Rachael Kelly, received a commendation for Outstanding Service to People with a Disability for her mentoring and consistency in messaging as well as her dedication.
It has been a tremendous 12 months for all the athletes of Special Olympics Victoria and Special Olympics Australia.
