It was a battle of the Special Olympics Victoria superfish in March as our lightening fast swimmers took to Knox pool for the annual Special Olympics – Melbourne Eastern Ranges swim meet.
With 30 swimmers from several clubs contesting the meet, the competition was fierce and, often, there was only a fingertip in it between those sprinting home in first, second or third.
LETR’s Laureina and Amy had a blast cheering on the athletes and were lucky enough to hand out ribbons at the end of the event.
Thanks swimmers . It was edge-of-your-seat stuff and LETR loved it .
