Athlete Mentoring
LETR VIC are mentors for Special Olympics athletes and undertake mentor training to support their mentees. There are opportunities to mentor throughout the year including attending the annual athlete leadership camp for two nights with the athlete leadership group. LETR send 6 representatives on average to camp each year to assist with tasks and mentoring of athletes. It’s our most favourite event on the annual calendar.
We are often seeking additional mentors and you don’t have to be a law enforcement officer to get involved with mentoring. We welcome all people that can perform the below key responsibilities.
